Staggering like a Drunkard and the Spirit of Deep Sleep

k10

If on a person is the “Spirit of Deep Sleep”, or the condition of “Staggering like a Drunkard”, then the condition would beg the question, “What has qualified the person for this disgrace?” These are the places where the sentences or penalties of “Stagger like a drunkard”, and “Spirit of Deep Sleep” have been pronounced. [(epbuh) means, “May eternal peace and blessings of Allah (God) be upon him.”]

1.  Prophet Isaiah (epbuh) spoke concerning the “Stagger” regarding Ancient Egypt under the rule of Pharoah. The verses are quoted below with the noteworthy sections highlighted in blue, bold blue, and bold black.

2.  Prophet Jeremiah (epbuh) spoke concerning the “Stagger” regarding false prophets that committed falsehood, false commands, and false decrees. This may have been a situation in which wrong or unjust command in the Spirit was having too much power against right and just command in the Spirit. In Arabic the word for command is Amr. The best way to describe this would be the example of the Gospel (Injeel) when the Messiah, son of Mary (epbut) said, “The Lord answered, “If you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘May you be uprooted and thrown into the sea,’ and it would obey you!” ~ NLT Luke 17:6. This is probably the best explanation of Amr or Command to someone that is a non-Muslim. So to have a Prophet of God saying that the Word of God against false prophets (or falsehood) has me staggering like a drunkard is something very telling. He is speaking regarding the falsehood that truth must oppose and that the force of the falsehood had obviously belabored him with Truth, and mind you again this is a Prophet of God speaking, that was commissioned by God to be an ambassador of the Kingdom of Heaven. This is concerning because, technically, any person of faith would qualify for the disgrace of staggering like a drunkard under this scenario. That is, falsehood, in the spirit and/or the flesh, belaboring a person bearing truth. The verses are quoted below with the noteworthy sections highlighted in blue, bold blue, and bold black.

3.  Prophet Jeremiah (epbuh) spoke concerning the “Stagger” regarding Moab. The verses are quoted below with the noteworthy sections highlighted in blue, bold blue, and bold black.

4.  Prophet Nahum (epbuh) spoke concerning the “Stagger” regarding Nineveh. The verses are quoted below with the noteworthy sections highlighted in blue, bold blue, and bold black.

5. Prophet Isaiah (epbuh) spoke concerning the “Spirit of Deep Sleep” regarding Ariel the City of David. The verses are quoted below with the noteworthy sections highlighted in blue, bold blue, and bold black.

6.  Prophet Solomon (epbuh) spoke concerning the “Stagger” regarding excessive wine, alcohol and intoxicants consumptions. The verses are quoted below with the noteworthy sections highlighted in blue, bold blue, and bold black.

[Also I must dispel here the notion that the Holy Quran is a false Holy Book, and Al-Islam is a false religion. The story of a revelation being revealed to the descendants of Prophet Ismail (epbuh) is revealed in the story about Prophet Abraham (epbuh) intending to sacrifice his son to God, and how at the right moment an Angel instructed Prophet Abraham to sacrifice a ram instead. It was spoken that God promised that Abraham’s children would be as many as the stars in the heavens and the sands along the shores. Abraham asked if that blessing would be through Prophet Ismail (epbuh) as well, and God replied. “Yes.” This would mean that Holy Books of revelation would need to be sent to both lines of Abraham. The line of Abraham descended through Prophet Isaac (epbuh) who is considered the Father of Israel (epbuh). As well as, through Prophet Ismail (epbuh) who is considered the Father of the Arabs. These 2 men are technically half-brothers. And so these 2 people can be considered technically half-brothers, who share the same Father Prophet Abraham (epbuh). And so the 3 Abrahamic Faiths of Judaism, Christianity and Al-Islam takes on substantial new meaning. When we look into the sky and the orbits of the celestial bodies, their movement takes on a counter-clockwise motion. When we look at the Pilgrims circumambulating the Kabbah in Mecca their movement takes on a counter-clockwise motion. From the macrocosm of the Celestial bodies to the microcosm of the electrons circumambulating the nucleus of atoms we can see the ripples of the Will of God being done on Earth as it is in Heaven.]

Staggering like a Drunkard and the Spirit of Deep Sleep [Aoudhubillahi x ∞]:

The Stagger Passages:

1. Isaiah 19:14 NLT

The LORD has sent a spirit of foolishness on them, so all their suggestions are wrong. They cause the land of Egypt to stagger like a sick drunkard.

1 This message came to me concerning Egypt: Look! The LORD is advancing against Egypt, riding on a swift cloud. The idols of Egypt tremble. The hearts of the Egyptians melt with fear. 2 “I will make the Egyptians fight against each other — brother against brother, neighbor against neighbor, city against city, province against province. 3 The Egyptians will lose heart, and I will confuse their plans. They will plead with their idols for wisdom. They will call on spirits, mediums, and psychics to show them which way to turn. 4 I will hand Egypt over to a hard, cruel master, to a fierce king,” says the Lord, the LORD Almighty. 5 The waters of the Nile will fail to rise and flood the fields. The riverbed will be parched and dry. 6 The canals of the Nile will dry up, and the streams of Egypt will become foul with rotting reeds and rushes. 7 All the greenery along the riverbank will wither and blow away. All the crops will dry up, and everything will die. 8 The fishermen will weep for lack of work. Those who fish with hooks and those who use nets will all be unemployed. 9 The weavers will have no flax or cotton, for the crops will fail. 10 The weavers and all the workers will be sick at heart. 11 What fools are the counselors of Zoan! Their best counsel to the king of Egypt is stupid and wrong. Will they still boast of their wisdom? Will they dare tell Pharaoh about their long line of wise ancestors? 12 What has happened to your wise counselors, Pharaoh? If they are so wise, let them tell you what the LORD Almighty is going to do to Egypt. 13 The wise men from Zoan are fools, and those from Memphis are deluded. The leaders of Egypt have ruined the land with their foolish counsel. 14 The LORD has sent a spirit of foolishness on them, so all their suggestions are wrong. They cause the land of Egypt to stagger like a sick drunkard. 15 Nobody in Egypt, whether rich or poor, important or unknown, can offer any help. 16 In that day the Egyptians will be as weak as women. They will cower in fear beneath the upraised fist of the LORD Almighty. 17 Just to speak the name of Israel will strike deep terror in their hearts, for the LORD Almighty has laid out his plans against them. 18 In that day five of Egypt’s cities will follow the LORD Almighty. They will even begin to speak the Hebrew language. One of these will be Heliopolis, the City of the Sun. 19 In that day there will be an altar to the LORD in the heart of Egypt, and there will be a monument to the LORD at its border. 20 It will be a sign and a witness to the LORD Almighty in the land of Egypt. When the people cry to the LORD for help against those who oppress them, he will send them a savior who will rescue them. 21 In that day the LORD will make himself known to the Egyptians. Yes, they will know the LORD and will give their sacrifices and offerings to him. They will make promises to the LORD and keep them. 22 The LORD will strike Egypt in a way that will bring healing. For the Egyptians will turn to the LORD, and he will listen to their pleas and heal them. 23 In that day Egypt and Assyria will be connected by a highway. The Egyptians and Assyrians will move freely between their lands, and they will worship the same God. 24 And Israel will be their ally. The three will be together, and Israel will be a blessing to them. 25 For the LORD Almighty will say, “Blessed be Egypt, my people. Blessed be Assyria, the land I have made. Blessed be Israel, my special possession!”

2. Jeremiah 23:9 NLT

My heart is broken because of the false prophets, and I tremble uncontrollably. I stagger like a drunkard, like someone overcome by wine, because of the holy words the LORD has spoken against them.

3. Jeremiah 48:26 NLT

“Let her stagger and fall like a drunkard, for she has rebelled against the LORD. Moab will wallow in her own vomit, ridiculed by all.

7 Because you have trusted in your wealth and skill, you will be taken captive. Your god Chemosh, with his priests and princes, will be exiled to distant lands!

13 At last Moab will be ashamed of her idol Chemosh, as Israel was ashamed of her gold calf at Bethel.

27 Did you not make Israel the object of your ridicule? Was she caught in the company of thieves that you should despise her as you do?

4. Nahum 3:11 NLT

And you, Nineveh, will also stagger like a drunkard. You will hide for fear of the attacking enemy.

1 How terrible it will be for Nineveh, the city of murder and lies! She is crammed with wealth to be plundered. 2 Listen! Hear the crack of the whips as the chariots rush forward against her. Wheels rumble, horses’ hooves pound, and chariots clatter as they bump wildly through the streets. 3 See the flashing swords and glittering spears in the upraised arms of the cavalry! The dead are lying in the streets — dead bodies, heaps of bodies, everywhere. People stumble over them, scramble to their feet, and fall again. 4 All this because Nineveh, the beautiful and faithless city, mistress of deadly charms, enticed the nations with her beauty. She taught them all to worship her false gods, enchanting people everywhere. 5 “No wonder I am your enemy!” declares the LORD Almighty. “And now I will lift your skirts so all the earth will see your nakedness and shame. 6 I will cover you with filth and show the world how vile you really are. 7 All who see you will shrink back in horror and say, ‘Nineveh lies in utter ruin.’ Yet no one anywhere will regret your destruction.” 8 Are you any better than Thebes, surrounded by rivers, protected by water on all sides? 9 Ethiopia and the land of Egypt were the source of her strength, which seemed without limit. The nations of Put and Libya also helped and supported her. 10 Yet Thebes fell, and her people were led away as captives. Her babies were dashed to death against the stones of the streets. Soldiers cast lots to see who would get the Egyptian officers as servants. All their leaders were bound in chains. 11 And you, Nineveh, will also stagger like a drunkard. You will hide for fear of the attacking enemy. 12 All your fortresses will fall. They will be devoured like the ripe figs that fall into the mouths of those who shake the trees. 13 Your troops will be as weak and helpless as women. The gates of your land will be opened wide to the enemy and set on fire and burned. 14 Get ready for the siege! Store up water! Strengthen the defenses! Make bricks to repair the walls! Go into the pits to trample clay, and pack it into molds! 15 But in the middle of your preparations, the fire will devour you; the sword will cut you down. The enemy will consume you like locusts, devouring everything they see. There will be no escape, even if you multiply like grasshoppers. 16 Merchants, as numerous as the stars, have filled your city with vast wealth. But like a swarm of locusts, they strip the land and then fly away. 17 Your princes and officials are also like locusts, crowding together in the hedges to survive the cold. But like locusts that fly away when the sun comes up to warm the earth, all of them will fly away and disappear. 18 O Assyrian king, your princes lie dead in the dust. Your people are scattered across the mountains. There is no longer a shepherd to gather them together. 19 There is no healing for your wound; your injury is fatal. All who hear of your destruction will clap their hands for joy. Where can anyone be found who has not suffered from your cruelty?

The Spirit of Deep Sleep Passages:

5. Isaiah 29:10 NLT

For the LORD has poured out on you a spirit of deep sleep. He has closed the eyes of your prophets and visionaries.

Isaiah 29 NLT

1 “Destruction is certain for Ariel, the City of David. Year after year you offer your many sacrifices. 2 Yet I will bring disaster upon you, and there will be much weeping and sorrow. For Jerusalem will become as her name Ariel means — an altar covered with blood. 3 I will be your enemy, surrounding Jerusalem and attacking its walls. I will build siege towers around it and will destroy it. 4 Your voice will whisper like a ghost from the earth where you will lie buried. 5 “But suddenly, your ruthless enemies will be driven away like chaff before the wind. 6 In an instant, I, the LORD Almighty, will come against them with thunder and earthquake and great noise, with whirlwind and storm and consuming fire. 7 All the nations fighting against Jerusalem will vanish like a dream! Those who are attacking her walls will vanish like a vision in the night. 8 A hungry person dreams of eating but is still hungry. A thirsty person dreams of drinking but is still faint from thirst when morning comes. In the same way, your enemies will dream of a victorious conquest over Jerusalem, but all to no avail. 9 Are you amazed and incredulous? Do you not believe it? Then go ahead and be blind if you must. You are stupid, but not from wine! You stagger, but not from beer! 10 For the LORD has poured out on you a spirit of deep sleep. He has closed the eyes of your prophets and visionaries. 11 All these future events are a sealed book to them. When you give it to those who can read, they will say, “We can’t read it because it is sealed.” 12 When you give it to those who cannot read, they will say, “Sorry, we don’t know how to read.” 13 And so the Lord says, “These people say they are mine. They honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far away. And their worship of me amounts to nothing more than human laws learned by rote. 14 Because of this, I will do wonders among these hypocrites. I will show that human wisdom is foolish and even the most brilliant people lack understanding.” 15 Destruction is certain for those who try to hide their plans from the LORD, who try to keep him in the dark concerning what they do! “The LORD can’t see us,” you say to yourselves. “He doesn’t know what is going on!” 16 How stupid can you be? He is the Potter, and he is certainly greater than you. You are only the jars he makes! Should the thing that was created say to the one who made it, “He didn’t make us”? Does a jar ever say, “The potter who made me is stupid”? 17 Soon — and it will not be very long — the wilderness of Lebanon will be a fertile field once again. And the fertile fields will become a lush and fertile forest. 18 In that day deaf people will hear words read from a book, and blind people will see through the gloom and darkness. 19 The humble will be filled with fresh joy from the LORD. Those who are poor will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. 20 Those who intimidate and harass will be gone, and all those who plot evil will be killed. 21 Those who make the innocent guilty by their false testimony will disappear. And those who use trickery to pervert justice and tell lies to tear down the innocent will be no more. 22 That is why the LORD, who redeemed Abraham, says to the people of Israel, “My people will no longer pale with fear or be ashamed. 23 For when they see their many children and material blessings, they will recognize the holiness of the Holy One of Israel. They will stand in awe of the God of Israel. 24 Those in error will then believe the truth, and those who constantly complain will accept instruction.

6. Proverbs 23:

29 Who has anguish? Who has sorrow? Who is always fighting? Who is always complaining? Who has unnecessary bruises? Who has bloodshot eyes? 30 It is the one who spends long hours in the taverns, trying out new drinks. 31 Don’t let the sparkle and smooth taste of wine deceive you. 32 For in the end it bites like a poisonous serpent; it stings like a viper. 33 You will see hallucinations, and you will say crazy things. 34 You will stagger like a sailor tossed at sea, clinging to a swaying mast. 35 And you will say, “They hit me, but I didn’t feel it. I didn’t even know it when they beat me up. When will I wake up so I can have another drink?”
